Casi is the musical project of Juan Antonio Carulla, creator of one of the most important independent outlets for music journalism in Colombia: El Enemigo. After years of covering the vast landscape of independent music in Colombia, Juan Antonio has thrown himself in the mix with a project that leans towards distortion, fast paced drumming, catchy almost pop-like choruses and frantic storytelling about life in Bogotá.

Nada Nunca Fue Peligroso is his first full length album, filled with character driven lyrics and hallucinatory stories about Bogotá’s non existent metro, reclusive vampires and impossible artistic easy living. All the artwork reflects the influence of punk trough a pop lense with a strong emphasis on printed textures that directly reference DIY graphics and a saturated yet gritty and dirty color palette that very well known to anyone living in Bogotá.
